【おとなりの晩酌】ビールにぴったりのタコスで家飲みはいかが?/How about a Home Party with Beer and Tacos?

ビール好きのみなさん、こんにちは!突然ですが、普段ビールは「どこで」飲まれていますか?

おそらく「行きつけの居酒屋」や「会社帰りの立ち飲みバー」、「お気に入りのレストラン」などという答えがあるかと思います。

しかし、一番みなさんにとって身近な場所は、やっぱり「家」ではないでしょうか?

家の中って見えないもので、他の人が家でどんな飲み方をしているのか、気になるものです。

 

ということで、これから時々みなさんの『家飲み』を取材させてもらうことにしました!

初回は、鈴木隆史さん、まり子さん夫妻(仮名)のお宅です。

この日は、隆史さんの転職祝いのホームパーティにお邪魔しました。

 

鈴木夫妻は大のビール好き。サッポロビールの中でもヱビスビールの大ファンで、この日はお祝いに合わせて贅沢にヱビスを堪能するつもりで計画したとのこと。

まり子さんは食べることが大好き。料理を作って仲間と一緒に家飲みをすることが多く、月に一度は自宅や友人のお宅で家飲みやホームパーティをするそうです。

この日は、タコスを中心とした、ビールにぴったりのメニュー。

とっても豪華ですが、こちらのタコス、実はミンチを市販のタコス用パウダーで炒める他は、具材を切って並べただけでできる簡単メニュー。

パーティにもってこいですね!

みなさん、おしゃべりを楽しみながらどんどんタコスを巻いて口に運びます。

 

つづいて、ガーリックシュリンプ。

エビ

こちらも、エビをオリーブ油・塩胡椒・にんにくに2時間程度漬け込んでバターと一緒に炒めるだけのシンプルメニュー。「ビールに合う!」とみなさん尻尾まで頬張っていました。

キッシュ

そして、こちらがブロッコリーとサーモンのキッシュ。

一度レストランで食べたふわふわのキッシュが忘れられず、自分でレシピを調べて研究した末、作ることができるようになったと言うまり子さん。

みんなが喜ぶメニューでよく作るのだとか。

薄力粉やバター・卵などを使ってタルト生地を型に入れて作り、そこに具材を流し込んで焼くという、手の込んだ本格的な一品です。

 

久しぶりに会った友人と、ビールを片手に大盛り上がりの様子です。

隆史さんもビールは好きでよく飲むそうですが、まり子さんのビール好きにはまったくかなわないとのこと。まり子さんは「毎日家で飲むビールのために働いている!」と語ってくれました。

ヱビスビールを飲み尽くした後も、黒ラベルや麦とホップに持ち替えて、宴はまだまだ続くようでした。

Enjoy BEER & FOOD the way you want in your own home. How about a Home Party with Beer and Tacos?  –The Premiere of “Supper Drink Next door” series! (At the Home of Mr. & Mrs. Suzuki (pseudonym) located in Tokyo, Japan)

 

Hello, Beer Lovers! Today’s first question for you is — “Where do you usually drink Beer?” I’m guessing your answers would be something like “at the usual Japanese-style Bar”, “at the Stand-Up Bar near the office / near home” or “at the favorite restaurant” etc.  However, the most comfortable place to drink may be your own HOME after all. Needless to say, it is behind the closed door.  So, I’m curious how others Enjoy Drinking in their own Home, and then — I came up with a great idea!  I’m going to visit someone’s home and literally report about “Drinking Beer at Home” from time to time.

 

Here is the very first report.  The Home of Mr. Takashi Suzuki & Mrs. Mariko Suzuki (pseudonym).  They live in Tokyo, Japan. This home party was for Mr. Suzuki to celebrate his new Job!  It was a nice small scaled party and had a very at-home atmosphere.  Mr. & Mrs. Suzuki are serious beer lovers.   YEBISU is their favorite Beer of all Sapporo Beers!  On this special day, they have planned to fully enjoy the premium taste of YEBISU.

Mariko loves to eat as well.  She often brings homemade foods to the table.  She and her friends enjoy having the “Drinking Beer at Home” party at least once a month at her house or at her friend’s house. Today, she prepared Tacos and more.  Perfect menus with BEER!  The gorgeous meal was very easy to prepare.  All she had to cook was ground meat and put a package of Taco Seasoning Mix.  The rest is just cutting and chopping the vegetables and then place them on the plates.  That’s it!  Perfect dish for the home party!  Everyone was enjoying tasty Tacos as well as the fun conversation!

Next dish was Garlic Shrimp. This dish also is a simple recipe.  Marinade the Shrimp in olive oil, salt & black pepper and garlic for 2 hours, and then cook with butter on a pan and serve!  We all kept saying “Goes well with Beer!” and didn’t take very much time to make this plate totally empty!

Third dish was Broccoli and Salmon Quiche.  Mariko told me the story behind this dish.  She’s had this quiche at the restaurant once.  It was so soft and tasty and unforgettable.  So, she started looking for the recipe and finally learned how to make it!  She also told me that she enjoys making this Quiche for her friends because everyone seems happy to have it on the menu.  She started with flour, butter and eggs etc.  She poured the ingredients into a homemade tart and then baked it in the oven.  It’s almost as if this were a professional delicacy!

Having a great time with long-time favorite friends with the favorite beer in hand!!

Takashi and Mariko, they both enjoy drinking beer.  However, nobody loves BEER as much as Mariko does!?  She was telling us “I want to enjoy MY BEER every day at my own home!  That’s the reason I’m working every day!”…LOL

This “Drinking Beer at Home” Party went on with any brand or kind of beer — Even after they were out of YEBISU beer.
